How do Priorities work in Contracts?
In a contract you can set a priority for which order contract pricing takes effect on Horizon.
The way priorities works is that the higher the Priority the more likely that price will be picked up when adding the code into an entry.
For Example.
If a trader had two contracts setup Contract A and Contract B. (See Below)
Contract A |
Contract B |
Item - 00215X |
Item - 00215X |
Price - £5.99 |
Price - £9.99 |
Priority - 1 |
Priority - 10 |
Because Contract B has a higher priority when adding 00215X in for the trader it will pick up £9.99 as the price.
If however the contracts were setup with the same priority (See Below)
Contract A |
Contract B |
Item - 00215X |
Item - 00215X |
Price - £5.99 |
Price - £9.99 |
Priority - 5 |
Priority - 5 |
As both contracts have the same priority, the system will pick up Contract A as it has the cheapest price for the customer.
