You should now have the following details:

  • FTP Address – ftp://uploads.google.com
  • FTP username
  • FTP password
  • Data feed file-name

In HorizonWeb, log in as an admin user and open the HorizonWeb Administration page. Click HorizonWeb Settings > Overrides > Google Datafeed and Sitemap.

In the Google Datafeed group, enter the details you have collected and click Save Settings.

To upload data to Google Merchant, click Save and Upload.

Warning. The upload process may take more than 15 minutes. HorizonWeb does not show a progress indicator. While the data is being uploaded, your web browser may give feedback such as displaying a spinning wheel "throbber" in the title bar or tab, or displaying the page's status. When the data has uploaded, an entry is added to the Datafeed Uploading History.

Clear Datafeed – The data feeds take up space within your HorizonWeb application, so periodically, you should clear the feeds folder by clicking Clear Datafeed. This doesn't clear any data from Google Shopping that you have already uploaded.
