What are the 'Parameters' on the user defined layout?

In HorizonWeb 2.59 we have introduced the ability to pass certain controls a parameter. So far the supported controls are 'Featured Offer', 'HTMLBox' and 'HTMLBoxNoHeader'.

To use the parameters you will need to build a user defined layout as shown in,

How can I create my own Layout?

When adding one of the above controls simply enter the parameter after selecting the control from the dropdown list then click 'Add' which will then add the control to the list with the parameter, for example,

For the featured offer control the parameter will be a catalogue name, this must match exactly with the name given to the desired catalogue within Horizon. If you add a catalogue name to the control then this instance of the featured offer will only display items from that catalogue.

When using the HTML box controls the parameter can be any text, this will be used to identify the box on the page and allow you to enter different content in each. Once you've added one of these boxes goto the HTML Editor on the admin page and you will see the HTMLBox in the dropdown list with the parameter after, for example, 'HTMLBoxOne'. Here you can then type any valid HTML code, click save and you will see your HTML displayed in the control.
