How do I Merge Accounts Together?

Preparing File

You will need to create a excel spreadsheet with the code you wish to merge to the main account in column A and then the code of the main account in column B.
Note: You will need to remove any column headers out of your excel spreadsheet.

Once you’ve created your file you will need to save it as a csv (comma-separated values) file.

Merging The Traders Together

Run the ‘MergeAccounts10.exe’ on your server.

1. Select Find
   a. Browse to the datalive.ib in your data folder.
      Note: As a precaution we advise running on your dataplay.ib first so you can check you are happy with the result before running on your live data.
      Note: Even though it defaults to a dataplay location you are still required to browse to the data file.
   b. Confirm the selection

2. Select Fine
   a. Brose to your csv file.
   b. Confirm the selection

3. Select Connect

4. Select Merge
