How Do I Update Command Centre?

 

You will need to download the latest version of Horizon. Our release manager will email you your FTP site credentials.

Once this is downloaded you need to right click on the file and select ‘Extract All’.

 

To do update Command Centre follow these instructions:

  1. Right Click on Command Centre on your Task Bar and select Restore.
  2. Click on the Services Tab.
  3. If you are using the ‘Login Service’ you need to click ‘Stop’ and then ‘Uninstall’ and then un-tick the option ‘Use Login Service’.
  4. If you are using the ‘Backup Service’ you need to click ‘Stop’ and then ‘Uninstall’ and then un-tick the option ‘Use Backup Service’.
  5. Now close the Command Centre (this will not log people out but will prevent people from logging in)
  6. Copy the Backup.exe, Cctr.exe and Hsrv.exe into the Horizon - SERVER folder.
  7. Now open up the Command Centre (Double click the icon and then Right Click on Command Centre on your Task Bar and select Restore) .
  8. Click onto the Services tab
  9. If you are were using the ‘Login Service’ you need to tick the option ‘Use Login Service’ and click ‘Install’ and then ‘Start’.
  10. If you are were using the ‘Backup Service’ you need to tick the option ‘Use Backup Service’ and then click ‘Install’ and then ‘Start’.
  11. Your Command Centre is now updated.
